Meditate & Connect with Sacred Hapéh
I am so grateful for the medicine of Hapéh.
I have a deep respect for this medicine and its spirit. After many years of working with it, I feel that I have come into a respectful and balanced personal practice with it.
Over time, I have naturally developed a loving relationship. Working with the medicine in ceremony and also in the Amazon, where it originates from, has helped me to broaden my own personal understanding.
One of the main concerns about this medicine is how many people are using it now without any guidance and understanding.
There have been times when people have shared with me that they think they “don’t like it” or that “they are afraid of it” - Because the first time they received this medicine, the person who gave it to them did not walk them through the process in a way that felt safe.
It is a deep act of trust to receive this medicine from another person ✨
It requires surrender 💫
And it is a great responsibility to share this medicine with others ⚡️
How close we have to sit next to each other... The sharing of our breath… Tuning into each other… It is something that is intimate and should not be taken lightly.
We have to be aware, mindful, present and clear when Giving and Receiving Hapéh.
This is not a moment to show someone how powerful you may think you are. This is not a moment for our ego to think we are “healing” someone.
There is nothing to prove.
We have to get ourselves and our thoughts out of the way. We are only a tool and a vessel for the medicine to work through. It doesn’t have anything to do with us. And it is not for us to “blow” our own personal ideas or energies into someone else.
The moment of the blow, when you are sharing the medicine with someone else through a Tepi… It is very important to keep it Clean. Pure. Intentional. Confident. Kind.

Diving Deeper into Hapéh…
Hapéh is not just a Plant Medicine. It is a practice of coming home to yourself… When we need stillness, when our thoughts feel heavy, when our emotions feel unsettled, when our energy feels scattered.
For centuries, the indigenous tribes of the Amazon, like the Huni Kuin, Yawanawa and Kuntanawa, have crafted and shared Hapéh - a sacred blend of medicinal plants, ashes, and tobacco - used to cleanse the mind, ground the spirit, and restore balance to our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies.
If you feel the call to work with this Sacred Plant Medicine, it is important to honor it. We believe strongly in sharing this medicine with care, integrity, and a deep respect for those who feel the calling to walk with this medicine. This is not something to be consumed without thought. Hapéh is an invitation. To slow down. To breathe. To release and clear what no longer serves you.
Why People Choose to Work with Hapéh
Every person’s journey with Hapéh is unique, and could possibly be described as:
🌿 Clearing the Mind – Hapéh clears mental fog and distractions, bringing focus and stillness.
🌿 Emotional Release – Sometimes, we hold onto things we don’t even realize—tension, sadness, or stagnant energy. Hapéh can loosen what is stuck, allowing for release, lightness, and peace.
🌿 Heightened Awareness – Sensory perception sharpens. Sounds become clearer. The scent of the earth deepens. The body feels more attuned. Many find that Hapéh enhances meditation, prayer, and inner work.
🌿 Physical Realignment – The plants in Hapéh have been traditionally used to support the respiratory system, clear the sinuses, and ease tension. Some find relief from headaches, while others experience a renewed sense of energy.
🌿 Spiritual Connection – For those walking a spiritual path, Hapéh can serve as a bridge - centering the spirit, quieting the mind, and opening the heart.
Hapéh is a Master Plant Teacher. It does not “fix” you, however it can guide you in the direction towards your own healing. Some days it will awaken. Other days, it will soften. The spirit will meet you where you are…
The Ritual of Hapéh
Hapéh is not a substance to be "taken" - Rather, it is a medicine to be received with awareness, gratitude, and presence.
To work with Hapéh, we use either:
A Kuripe – a small, V-shaped pipe for self-application.
A Tepi – a longer pipe used when someone else administers the medicine.
With a conscious and intentional breath, the medicine is blown into the nostrils, carrying it deep into the system. It may feel strong at first - a moment of intensity before settling into clarity, calm, and grounding.
The way this medicine is applied through breathe matters. This is not a passive act. To receive Hapéh is to be fully present with it - to surrender to the moment and trust in the plants.
A Time-Honored Tradition
Hapéh (also spelled Hapé, Rapéh or Rapé) is crafted with intention and care. The blending of sacred tobacco (Nicotiana rustica), ashes, and medicinal plants follows recipes passed down through generations. Each blend carries its own purpose - some for grounding, some for clarity, others for deep cleansing and renewal.
For the indigenous tribes of the Amazon, Hapéh is more than medicine - it is prayer, purification, and offering. It is used to clear negative energy, open the mind, and align the spirit with deeper truths. Many see it as an act of connection - with the earth, with tradition, with self.
We hold a deep reverence for this medicine and the Indigenous Tribes who have carried it forward. We honor their wisdom, their traditions, and their deep relationship with the plants. This is not something to be bought and consumed. It is something to be respected, honored, and experienced with intention.
More Than a Medicine
Hapéh is not a product. It is a practice. A communion with nature. A return to something deeper within ourselves.
Hapéh is not something to be "used." It is a sacred relationship to be developed - with the plants, with the wisdom of those who have carried this tradition, and with ourselves.
We feel passionately about sharing Hapéh because we believe in its ability to heal, to realign, to reconnect. Because we have experienced its power firsthand and have seen the way it supports people in their healing journey.
This is not a trend or a commodity. It is a sacred tool, meant to be honored and approached with reverence and an open heart.
If Hapéh is part of your journey, could possibly assist in:
🌿 Clearing your mind
🌿 Opening your spirit
🌿 Guiding you home to yourself
This is more than medicine - This is a Remembrance.
